On June 21, 2024, led by Professor Hsiao-Mei Lin, students from the Interactive Design course of the Creative Design program at National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) participated in the IxD International Class Exhibition "IxDISK Memory Fragments" held in Room 400 of the Kuang-Hua Building at NTUT.
This event utilized Meta Spark AR to recreate the brand of Taiwan Women in Science and Technology (TWiST), and establish augmented reality experience to showcase the application of innovative technologies. Through interactive AR advertisements, virtual try-ons, games, and other experiences, it re-presented the brand's value and creativity.
Not only did this event allow students to freely express their creativity and learn the practical application of the latest AR technology, but it also enabled the TWiST’s members who participated to experience the various applications and innovations in the AR world. This allowed AR to be more than just a technological term, but a modern technology integrated into everyday life.
TWiST has always been dedicated to promoting STEM activities and creating a STEM-friendly environment, allowing diverse talents to showcase their expertise and characteristics. This event not only allowed students to experience interesting technologies and combine technology with life, but also enhanced the members' understanding and application of technology, promoting exchange and growth among the members.
