Dear TWiST members,

Thank you for your support which let me have the opportunity to serve as the president of the Taiwan Society of Women in Science and Technology (TWiST) for you!

​

Although I am also a founding member of the TWiST, I was still unfamiliar with the Society before and had no access to it. However, the society is on track under the leading of presidents Jiali and Man Yu. After a conference of TWiST 2021, the TWiST has increased its exposure and more new members have joined.

​

In the field of technology, we face unprecedented challenges and opportunities. The booming development of technology has provided us with unprecedented tools and resources, and it has also given us more responsibilities. Our goal is not only to achieve greater achievements in the field of science and technology, but also to break down gender barriers and promote gender equality. We believe that only in an equal and inclusive environment can we truly unleash our collective power and create more innovative and influential scientific and technological research.

As president, I will work hard to create more opportunities for every member, provide better resources and support, and promote everyone’s growth and development. At the same time, I also look forward to working with everyone to promote the society's affairs and make it more known to the public. Let us move forward hand in hand, explore unknown areas, challenge ourselves, and realize our dreams. Thank you for your trust in giving me the opportunity to serve this dynamic society.
